Yesterday, When I was talking with Raghda via messenger, she told me that a bombed car was exploded near her house. And the glass of the windows of the houses and the shops in that region was broken.I visited her, and thanks God nothing happened to her or to her family. But unfortunately two children were dead. This news saddened me greatly.I hope that there will be no more explosions. And I want all the Iraqi people to live in peace.

My trip is over.. My family and I traveled to Syria And Lebanon with a tourism company. We went there by car.
We left home on Monday 20/6/2005 at 7 am.We supposed that we would arrive Syria after 8 hours. But it took 16 hours for this arrival. There were some problems in the way which caused this delay. We stayed at Syria for only one day in a very nice hotel which is called Al-Safir hotel. The next day we left Syria to Lebanon.
We stayed in Beirut's western tip which called Raouché in Lancaster hotel. Raouché just near the Mediterranean sea. This area is a popular with something for everyone. Its most famous landmark is Pigeon Rocks, huge formation which stands like sentinels off the coast. We visited Zahle , J'eita Grotto, Tyre, Ba'albeck, Beiteddine, and many other beautiful places. Then we returned to Syria. Stayed there for 3 days. Then we returned to Baghdad. I enjoyed my time very much.

I have more pictures. But I am not going to post them now.

To Be Continued...

Jokes from (Santa & Banta) :

Santa and Banta fly to the south sea islands to study the natives. They go to two adjacent islands and set to work. A few months later Santa takes a boat over to the other island to see how Banta is doing. When he gets there, he finds Banta standing among a group of natives."Greetings! How is it going?" says Santa."Wonderful!" says Banta, "I have discovered an important fact about the local language! Watch!"He points at a palm tree and says, "What is that?"The natives, in unison, say, "Umbalo-gong!"He then points at a rock and says, "And that?"The natives again intone, "Umbalo-gong!""You see!", says the beaming Banta, "They use the SAME word for 'rock' and for 'palm tree'!""That is truly amazing!" says the astonished Santa, "On the other island, the same word means 'index finger'!"

Santa enters a store that sell curtains. He tells the salesman, "I would like to buy a pair of pink curtains."The salesman assured him that they had a large selection of pink curtains. He showed him several patterns, but Santa seemed to be having a hard time choosing. Finally, he selects a lovely pink floral print. The salesman asked what size curtains he needed.Santa replies, "Fifteen inches.""Fifteen inches?" asked the salesman. "That sounds very small, what room are they for?"Santa tells him that they aren't for a room, they are for his computer monitor. The surprised salesman replies, "But, sir, computers do not have curtains!"Santa says, "Hellllooooooooo........I've got Windows!"
